After making some changes to the car, we hoped we finally found the solution for making the car handle good. We got 3rd in the heat race. The car looked like a good contender for the feature. Bart started on the 3rd row outside and was in the front in a matter of laps. He went on to lead the rest of the way taking home our second win of the season!! The car looked better but Bart said it was too tight. We made some more changes and Bart went out for the feature starting 8th. He started 8th in the feature. We were having a strong run and we were up to 3rd. We got passed by Bruce Hanford and finished 4th but they scored us 5th. Dan Chapman took home his first win of the season and Tim Arp had a great run finishing 3rd! Some cars went out to pack but it didnt help much. Bart started out getting 2nd in the heat race. Before all the features started, Al took the time to grade the track which helped a little bit. In the feature Bart started 5th. Bart was in the first race of the night, the make up feature from a couple of weeks ago. The track wasnt to bad, a little muddy in some spots but not as bad as we thought it was going to be. Bart looked pretty good, he was in 3rd place when he got bladed and got shuffled back in the pack. He went off the track on the front stretch from getting into Bob Dominacki. They both started in the back with about 3 laps to go. He ended up 7th. -Bart got 3rd in the heat. In the feature he was staying with it but didn't seem to be going forward. On the last lap Brad Dierks and Bob Dominacki got into it and Bart ended up getting a lucky top 5 finish hanging on to 4th. Great Job to Bob Wagener for preparing the track. He started in the third row outside for the feature. He looked pretty fast but not quite enough to beat 3rd place runner Jake Bowman. He ended up 4th. Tim had a bad knee and had to sit out a night. We made some quick adjustments to the car to fix Bart's liking and we went out for the feature. Bart started last and gradually made his way up. He finished 7th. We got ready to run our heat. Bart started in back and got 5th. Not enough to make the invert so we had to run the consi. No PA system, line-up board, or someone to tell us when it started. Bart would have started on the front row but they already started when he went up there. We didn't run the feature but there was a caution about every lap and they only got 3 laps in. Maybe its a good thing we didn't tear our stuff up.
